Envisalink 4 can't connect

I just replaced my old Netgear router with the new Amazon eeco router and I had to use a switch (Tp-link TL-SG108) for my wired devices because no extra ports on the router. They all work except the EVL4. There is no green light at the port no matter which port I use on the switch. If I plug the EVL4 directly to the router without the switch, it works. I've tried switching cables. No change. Any ideas?

Never mind. I just installed the old netgear router in addition to the new one and it worked. Somehow the switch wasn't working with the EVL4.
