EnvisaLink and non-DSC thermostat

We're looking to install a heat pump which requires changing the thermostat, I believe they would use Ecobee. We currently have a DSC thermostat and it works great with the EnvisaLink 4. I'm wondering if the thermostat is changed to a non-DSC or Honeywell would we still be able to integrate it with the EnvisaLink? Thanks.
