EVL4 with a Honeywell Vista 20P panel:Remote arm "Away"

Just installed my EVL4 on a Honeywell Vista20p last weekend and all went very well.
Pardon if this has been covered before, I did perform a search but didn't find the answer.
Could be the search verbiage I used.
Trying to remote arm the EVL4 on my phone to "away" but as I am not home to open and close the exit door to put "away" into effect
I get a "stay" alarm setting.
Originally set the EVL4 as keypad 2 using the Vista20P *190 setting 1 - for standard keypad.
Poking on the internet I found changing the Vista 20P *190 setting from 1 to 5 (Remote Services Device Usage) partition 1 (auto stay disabled)
should remedy this situation.
Everything works perfectly to my liking other than this and I don't want to screw anything up so please forgive me.
Here are my questions odd as they many sounds
Will changing this setting actually solve my issue?
If so, changing this setting on the Vista 20P wont cause issues with the EVL4 as it is already set up?
Do I have to reboot the whole system to get the EVL4 to see this change?
