Bug Report - Envisalink 3

Post by donnyk »

Hi,

Small issue to report.

By sending a command with a len of 3 or less (eg, 000 w/o a checksum) you will cause the device to stop responding. It will not respond anymore until you drop your connection and reconnect.

Not a big issue but thought I would pass it on. Just something I uncovered.

Thanks.

TPI bugs should be sent directly to Envisacor. We don't really support this aspect of the Envisalink on the forum or at tech support.

If you're not already in contact with them PM me and I'll make an introduction. Developers only please.

I wouldn't mind an official contact there as well, I have noticed a few things myself such as when you connect a fresh socket, sometimes there are leftover responses that need to be pulled out, on a tcp stream that part should be stateful at least.
