Google Home Instructions

Using Google Home with EyezOn
The EyezOn action for Google Assistant allows you to link your EyezOn account to Google and control your system through any Google Assistant-enabled device.

To set it up:
1. Install the Google Home app.
2. Go to the Devices screen and tap Add.
3. Select "Works with Google", then search for EyezOn.
4. Log in with your EyezOn account — your devices will now be linked.
5. Google may prompt you to assign devices to rooms; you can skip this step if you wish.

Once linked, the Google Assistant can control your devices. Here are some example voice commands:
  • Hey Google, what temperature is it at the front door?
  • Hey Google, is the front door open?
  • Hey Google, is my security system armed?
  • Hey Google, disarm my security system
→ Google will prompt you for your PIN before disarming.
  • Hey Google, set my security system to Stay Armed.
Note: Google Assistant can be particular about phrasing. The examples above tend to work reliably.

Known Issues
  • Only Partition 1 is supported. If your system has multiple partitions, Google will only query or control Partition 1.
  • Google assistant will always say you have a 30-second delay, even if your actual setting is different. The system will still respect the correct delay — this is just a display bug.
  • Only Stay Arm and Away Arm are supported via Google Assistant. Other modes (e.g., Night or Instant) are not available.
