Testing Text messages

I have enabled text messaging. I did enter the code and have enabled all of the event features that I want to be notified for which was all events. I have an Vista 15P, but I cannot seem to get a text message. I can arm and disarm system, but not receive text messages. Any ideas?

It was the *29 1 that fixed it. Thanks. I would have never figured that one out. Long range radio output was set to 0 by default.
