Away alarm and Stay Alarm

Using my Iphone I'm only able to set a "stay" alarm. When I try to set an "Away" alarm it appears like it is working but it converts to a Stay alarm.
I have a Honeywell system that I self programmed, Vista 15P. Any clue?

You will have to disable
Auto Stay function on the VISTA 15P. When you set the system to away, it is looking for an entry/exit door to open/close. If the system does not detect this door being opened (and subsequently closed), the system defaults to the stay mode, think someone is still inside the residence. This is to prevent false alarm. On my Ademco 20P, I had to disable Auto Stay to remotely arm in the away mode.

[ put a "0" in field 84 to disable the feature altogether ] - please check the manual to see if this is the correct field..I think it is!!
