Envisalink 3 and PC5400 Printer Interface Module

I'm running a DSC Powerseries PC1832 with 5 keypads, 3 PC5108 zone expanders, a PC5204 Power Supply module, one PC5200 Power Supply module, and a PC5400 Printer Module (connected to serial printer). I am anxious to install the Envisalink 3 I just bought, but I read that it enrols as a PC5400/DVACS module. Does this mean that they can't peacefully co-exist in the same system? Or are there enough supervisory slots that they can?

I run both the envisalink and printer module without issues together.

You can have both, the issue would be that if your printer module disappeared, you wouldn't get a supervisory on your panel as the Envisalink would be answering the "pings".

Thank you.
That's very helpful.
