BlackBerry App on my Z10

Browsing the BB App World, I came across the BB app which I downloaded for my BB Z10. It pretty much mirrors the mobile portal, but has some shortcomings, which I believe should be adressed.
1) It feels like a ported Android app (might just be), because it's very slow and lags badly. It's not a typical Z10 app in terms of performance. Loading is much slower than accessing/ loading the mobile portal
2) It asks for a username and password each time I login, which the mobile app does not. As a result, I can get to and execute on the mobile portal way faster than if I were using the downloaded app. It should allow the user to store the username and password if so chosen. If I lose my device, I can always kill it remotely.
If login security is the concern here, to prevent unauthorized access to the D2/3S in case the mobile device is lost or stolen, would be to add the ability at the mobile portal whereby the user can view a list of Mac addresses (on the D2/3S) that have accessed it and offer the option of including/ excluding access to the actual device via Mac address blocks, just like a firewall or router, then a reset of the device at the portal, in case users accidentally delete all of the "allowed" Mac addresses.
I deleted the app, as I found I can perform everything through the browser much faster than the local app. If this is a ported Android app, I get it, if it's a native BB app, I will say it needs work to get it running at least as fast as the mobile portal., and it should be faster and smoother.
