What ports are used?

Ok Im curious about the ports used for Envislink.

I have a second home that has 2ds along with a pc running team-viewer remote access software. and an IP baseed sprinkler system that works along the lines of how the 2ds works, ( it talks to an outside server which pushes schedules to the controller.)

i messed around and enabled a firewall function on the DSL modem and bang i lost my remote control session and the 2 DS reporting. Oddly enough the Sprinkler controller is still checking in.

Why i ask is i thought the 2DS initiated the connection outbound. Same with Team-viewer but it looks the the firewall is blocking something inbound.

All communications are outbound. You do not have to open any ports.

The Envisalink uses outbound UDP to port 4020, and 4021. It will also use outbound TCP to port 4022.

Maybe you blocked UDP outbound.
