I have a number of pre-sales questions for the IP Security Interface Module For DSC:
Is the communication to my alarm system through EyezOn from my iPhone or is the communication directly from my iPhone to my alarm system.
Does Eyez-On store my alarm password? If so is it storing a hash and is the hash salted?
What type of encryption is used between my alarm and EyezOn and iPhone.
What controls are provide for my DSC module, does it allow arming in AWAY Mode and alternately Stay mode (the TLS150 only allows arming in Stay mode)
Is your alarm monitoring service licensed in California (what is the license number).
Where can I find a manual.

- If you use the mobile portal then communications between your phone and the Envisalink are via Eyezon's servers.
- Eyezon doesn't store any user codes
- Encryption between your phone and the server is over SSL/TLS. Encryption between the Envisalink and the Eyezon servers is 128 bit AES.
- You can arm in any mode you want.
- Click on the "Support" link at www.eyezon.com for links to the online manuals, FAQs, and videos.

I don't understand what you mean using the mobile portal. Are there any other ways to access the Envisalink? Can I directly access the Envisalink? So for example, if the IP address of the Envisalink is 192.168.1.25 what happens if I type http://192.168.1.25 from my browser within my home?

The mobile portal is how most people access their Envisalinks. There are 3rd party apps for Android but nobody has made any for iPhone (that I know of).
If you access the module locally, like you describe, you will get a rudematary interface that is generally just used for debugging. As the Envisalink is made by the same company as the TL-150, it will look similar to what you have.
I'm not sure what you mean by detailed but everything we have is in online video manuals, FAQs, and primer guides.

It shows the portal, but not embedded web server.
You can access the Envisalink module via their web portal, or the embedded web server on the device directly on your home network LAN or WAN through your router via port forwarding. Be aware that the communication is NOT encrypted and uses http.
For the iPhone, you can use this app for TL-150 or EVL3:

I recently replaced a TL-150 and can answer other specific questions. I can say that the EVL3 is working much better, and provides improved reporting and arming options via TPI and Eyez-On portal. There was an annoying time server error with the TL-150 that caused it to continuously go offline - Tyco has done nothing to support or update their version of the product.
Eyez-On has been responsive, and already applied two firmware updates!
One other thing - the mobile link URL does not prompt for a password, so while the communication is encrypted anyone who intercepts that URL could access your alarm.
