EnvisaLink-3 & Reporting Power Outages

Post by BillK62 »

Does anyone know how to get the EnvisaLink-3 to report power outages to the Eyez-On website? I have a PowerSeries PC1832 system.

Thank you.

The 1832 will automatically report power outages. I believe the time between outage and report is 30 minutes by default. Refer to your manual for more information.

Ah. Thank you--with your help I found it: it's under *8 master code [377], for anyone else looking for this information. It's the 5th entry and indeed defaults to 30 minutes.

Please verify this programming:
*8
5555
377 (Communication Variables)
030
001 (One minute Reporting delay)
##

Does this mean that it will delay 1 minute to report a power outage?
Is 1 minute reasonable and pratical or is it too short and will create other problems, i.e. over reporting.
