Hi All,

I am stuck with an issue and hope someone on this forum can help.

I've recently installed a DSC PC1832 alarm system with Envisalink 3. I have a NetGear Dual Band 11ac wireless R6200 wireless router. My Envisalink couldn't communicate with the router to obtain an IP address. The route is configured to broadcast IP as DNS server and DHCP is on but Envisalink seems couldn't receive the IP address. However, I also have an old Linsys WRT300-N Wireless-N broadband router and when I connect Envisalink, it comes alive. I like the NetGear router a lot because it is very fast and I like continue using it. So I was just wondering why Envisalink couldn't communicted with NetGear r6200.

Your help is greatly appreciated;
Lam

I've never heard of a DHCP server that didn't work with the Envisalink.

Anyhow, you could use the Linksys to get access to the Enivsalink initially, and then make the IP static. Then go back to your NetGear.

I have a Netgear router R6300 router and had no issues with it communicating with the ENL3 module. When you login to the router do you see the EVL3 on the DHCP client list?

I have a Belkin N300 router and my EV3 will not communicate with it either. I don't know what what the issue is, but it won't communicate. I have turned off the firewall settings and also tried to put it into the DMZ with no luck. I have to plug it directly into my cable modem in order for it to work. :|
