Access panel with Envisalink with no DDNS

Hi. I have a DSC 1832 at a remote country house with HughesNet satellite internet. I'm interested in adding Envisalink 3 to the system but there is a very annoying issue with HughesNet as they block ALL outside access to the LAN IP addresses. No Static IPs, no DDNS, NOTHING. My question is what features is that going to affect with Envisalink?

My guess is alerts will still get pushed out but remote access and arming is off the table. What about controlling the alarm via my mobile device when I am on the LAN? I am really hoping that the Envisalink device will access the servers and download any relevant commands on a regular schedule, similar to how email works, rather than having to actually push through through to a non accessible local IP address. I hope this makes sense and someone can share a little more info on exactly how the system works. Thanks.

Hi, you will have access to all the features. The Envisalink periodically communicates with the servers and downloads commands at that time. It is designed to work in your exact situation.

Allow me to hijack my own thread but can anyone recommend a home automation system that works this same way? I am starting to educate myself about the different options but the documentation is rarely technical enough to determine if the system would work sith my setup. Thanks.
