Can't stop false alarms

Using a PC1616.

Garage is programed as zone definition 01 (entry delay).

The alarm seems to go off almost instantly when I open the garage. I don't have enough time to park the car, get out, and get to the panel. I'd love a 1:30 delay.

I try to change the entry delay and this is what happens:

*8 5555 //successfully enter program mode
005 //enter delay programming
03 //define zone 3 (garage door)
030 030 030 // uh oh!! I only get to type "03" and it beeps, and continues to beep every 2 button pushes!

What am I doing wrong? I've tried 2 seconds, 15 second, 90 seconds, but no luck.

I think your issue may be with step three - where you define zone 3 (your garage door).
Programming entry delay times is global, so this step should be removed from the sequence.

then choose partition
so
01 then you have 3 entries
_ _ _ entry delay 1
_ _ _ entry delay 2
_ _ _ exit delay

You are saying it goes off instantly, do you have a motion detector in the garage? When the alarm is set off, what zone is flashing or stored in memory after the alarm(hit *3 to recall before you re-arm)?
