Using DSC PTK5507 - Away Arm shortcut shows special closing

I am using a DSC PTK5507 and when using the Away Arm shortcut -which is a shortcut in the home screen without having to use the keypad, the eyez-on module is sending a security event as special closing.

I was wondering if there is a way to submit a request to have it show the correct name? The keypad provides a handful of other options, which I have not tried, but if I provide them, is it possible to have the eyez-on module detect the correct mode selected?

See the attached picture to see how the shortcuts look like.

Sorry my friend but the correct wording for this event is "Special Closing". It is the DSC term for closing without a code.

We only use industry terms as we respect the DIY, and we don't dumb down terms.

Following this event you probably also received a "Armed in Stay Mode"

Will this not suffice?

Actually now that I think about it, I was asking to see if its possible to show who it was armed by. In which case, it won't be possible because the shortcut arms it without requiring a pin to be entered.

So in retrospect, I guess what I was asking doesn't make sense.

But to answer your question, I deleted the emails and have not used the featured again yet, so I am not sure if I get the email saying armed mode after.

You should have gotten e-mails. I have the same setup as you - and several 5507's as well. I get e-mails with "special closing" each time I arm the system; same with scheduled arming as well...
