I have a Vista20p. I have performed all the steps as documented in the primer. I have configured all the codes on my Vista20p. As I say I get "closings" and "openings" and other messages, but not when the alarm is actually tripped. In the primer it talks about the reporting options and I don't see one called simply "alarm" - perhaps it is supposed to send that by default? In any case that is -of course - the SMS I really want to get - when the alarm trips. Can you help me figure out why not?

Check to see what time is set in *50
When you trip the alarm are you allowing the time in field *50 to time out before you put in your code to stop the alarm?
