Not Receiving a pin for SMS

Hello, I recently installed an EnvisaLink 3 in a new Honeywell/Ademco Vista-20P alarm panel. I have my zones listed on the EnvisaLink status page, see events, receive email, and can arm the system. However when trying to set up a new contact with my cell phone (Tracfone) the contact is listed as "not verified" as I can't get a pin. I've pressed the resend pin on different days about 20 times. It isn't working. How do I proceed?

Maybe the address you entered is incorrect. Email it to support and we can check the logs

I called TracFone support. The lady in some foreign country was very pleasant, but entirely clueless about solving my problem. But some helpful soul had a post in the TracFone forum that said to use the cell phones SMS (Text message) function to address a message to my email account (didn't know you could do that!). So, I entered my email address in the "To" field of a text message and hit send. I used my desktop PC to check email, and there was a message from my phone. Now I had the right address to use with my EnvisaLink 3. It turned out to be xxx-xxx-xxxx@txt.att.net

I hope this method helps some other cell phone users.
