Entry Zones Not Reporting On Alarm

Honeywell Vista 20P
EnvisaLink4

Arm the system. Wait. Trigger an entry. Wait for siren. Wait 30s dial delay.

No alarm reported. No email. No text message. CS reports nada.

However: What I do get, every time, is a double "opening by user <whomever>" at about the time I should think the alarm should've been reported.

I have received "Door <whatever>" alarms, but, apparently, only when the system was placed in "away" and I was testing all the zones, having put it into alarm by tripping an interior motion, first.

What am I missing?

Since then: Have tried changing the RC on one entry from "10" to "11": Same thing. Eliminated the dial delay. Same thing. Tried it arming the system for "AWAY," instead of "STAY": Same thing: Timer expires, alarm goes off, and nothing is reported until I deactivate the alarm, then a double "Opening by user..." report.

Something seems awry to me.

Update the 2nd: Reviewed the Honeywell Vista Setup. Occurred to me that, when that document says set all those registers to "11", then asserts "or keep hitting 1 until your hear three beeps", that latter suggestion is incorrect. If you really want to code decimal "11", hexadecimal "B", into those registers, you have to enter "#11" for each. (Which can mean up to nine times per "field": three times each for each of three partitions [1, 2 and common] for a 20P.)

Did that. Re-programmed all the others, too. No change. Thinking multiple errors: Also set the entry zone I'm testing back to an RC of "11".

Pas différence. No matter what I do: Alarming an entry results in no report and a double "opening by..." :(

While I appreciate users not wanting to "waste" tech-support time, in cases like the above you are better served through normal tech-support channels. We can see all of your programming on your panel and direct you to the problem immediately.

We love the attention, contact us! Submit a tech-support ticket through your Eyezon portal by selecting "Request Support" on the left-hand side of the page.

Make sure you have read the Envisalink primer before submitting. Most of the issues people have are covered there.

Will do, GW. Thanks for the prompt follow-up.

Done. Essentially cut-n-paste of my OP, with minor edits to clarify/correct a couple of details.

Update & closure

EyezOn Support is as fast as their servers. Submitted the support ticket at 7:30 p.m. Received a response 20 minutes later. On a Friday night, no less.

Problem: User error. I was not leaving the panel armed long enough after the exit delay expired, so the entry alarms were registering as "faults," not "alarms." On the Honeywell Vista 20P you have to wait a full two minutes, after the end of the exit delay, before the panel is truly "armed."

Kudos to EyezOn for the fast help. I have to say: I become more impressed by this company by the day.
